Typhoon Yolanda Recovery Efforts
Ways to Help (in NYC!)
In the aftermath of Super Typhoon Yolanda, the residents of Central Philippines are forced to cope with the destruction left in the wake of its devastating fury. FAHSI, after seeing what New York went through after Hurricane Sandy, can hardly imagine the circumstances the survivors are going through. FAHSI is raising funds to support organizations in the affected area that immediately address the needs of their constituents.
Since relief efforts are having trouble getting to areas in need due to logistical issues, we are looking to support organizations that are already mobilized on the ground. Our goal is to promote organizations with a clear and immediate plan to address their communities' most pressing needs at the grassroots level and help people get back on their feet.
A list of suggested ways to help will be updated on an ongoing basis. Please check in from time to time. To recommend that we add something to the list, please email [email protected].
