Cultural Events

One of FAHSI’s most important goals is to celebrate and promote the Philippine culture. To achieve this, FAHSI organizes cultural events, often in collaboration with other organizations, which are open to the public all year round. Among these events are the following:

• Light A Parol Christmas Fundraiser 
• Vagina Monologues (in English and Tagalog) to highlight the need to end
  violence against women
• Immigration History Week, held every spring to commemorate the migration of hundreds of thousands of Filipinos to the United States
