FAHSI Seniors perform at Elmhurst Public Library in Queens

On Saturday, Nov. 15, 3-4 pm, the energetic participants of FAHSI's Senior Support Program will perform traditional Philippine dances and folk songs.  They will also introduce the audience to a native, poetic form of debating known as the "balagtasan."  This art form debates current social issues.  The seniors will address the question, "can Filipinos unite as a community."  The event will take place at the Elmhurst Branch of the Queens Public Library, located at 86-01 Broadway, near the Grand Ave./Newtown subway station (G,R trains).
