Philippine Consul General Mario de Leon, Jr. and Miss America 2011 Teresa Scanlan graced the celebration of the 23rd Global Youth Service Day (GYSD) in Jamaica, Queens on April 15 at the Filipino American Human Services, Inc. (FAHSI) center.
FAHSI was chosen from among a thousand registered projects worldwide to work with GYSD to be a partner of the advocacy projects of Miss America and Youth Service America.
